Function of diffuser in gas turbine

Functionally, gas turbines are an innovative machine as they produce energy by burning fuels including natural gases and oils. They are on of the needs now in our world because they use a lot and can be used with number of uses. For example, they help to move aeroplanes and allow us to generate electricity. The diffuser is probably the most critical concept inside the fuel turbine.

This slows down the hot gases coming from fuel burning and increases its pressure. This is huge since these puckered gases can cause a lot of harm. These gases can have deteriorating effects on the other parts of the turbine and thus must be minimized. That's why it has a turbine diffuser, which makes sure all the back splatted atmosphere doesn't eat away at your precious turbines.

How diffusers maintain stable combustion?

When it burns in the turbine, this is mix with air. The combustion generates hot gases that are used to drive a turbine. But in that process, what is essential here, the burning does not happen on other side. The more unstable the upstream wakes, the worse they are for a turbine and hence its efficiency.

So what do we use diffusers for. The hot gases are allowed to cool slightly in order for the burn rate is controlled. That way, they can ensure an even burn. This will prevent the turbine from breaking due to a sudden change in pressure or temperature. Simply speaking, O.B.T diffusers are responsible for ensuring that you be your covered best.

Why choose O.B.T Function of diffuser in gas turbine?
